The Bills are loading up on pass rushers. Early monday morning, Ian Rappaport announced that the Buffalo Bills had agreed to a 1 year deal with veteran pass rusher Leonard Floyd.
Floyd, who has atleast 9 sacks in each of the past 3 seasons, adds key depth to the rotation while Von Miller continues to nurse his torn ACL injury. In 2022, he started all 17 games and had 9 sacks, 59 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 22 QB hits.
This might not be the big signing lots of Buffalo Bills fans were hoping for, but Floyd will be a perfect addition to this pass rushing defense, as they are tasked with taking some elite quarterbacks to the ground, such as Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and Aaron Rodgers (twice!). The Bills hope this signing allows for Von Miller to take his time with his rehab and not rush back Week 1 at Metlife (the stadium of death of football players).
